(My PI was scheduled 3rd from last) Replied enthusiastically “Outstanding”. It is very important to be energetic when you have your PI scheduled towards the end and the panel is not as interested.
Tips/Suggestions
- 1. Stay energetic during the process (Most important)
- 2. Show them you’re very much interested working there and in that role if any.
- 3. Try to personalize your answers as much as possible. Give personal anecdotes, connect it with how it will help the organization. Panelists are tired of the same generalized answers of why sales and etc.
- 4. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Be confident.
Overall Process Experience
- ✗My interview was scheduled towards the very end. Panelists are usually bored and have already a set of people in their mind. You need to constantly show enthusiasm, energy. It is the key. Differentiate yourself with others using personal anecdotes. Overall, it was a smooth process. The panelists looked interested. It felt more like a conversation, rather than a personal interview.
